Glass Pool Fencing Lower North Shore

Serving Lower North Shore and surrounding suburbs

    (02) 9073 7918
    Poolside house glass balustrade wide.

We design and install glass pool fencing across Mosman, Cremorne, Neutral Bay, Northbridge, Castlecrag and Willoughby. A harbour outlook suits frameless glass. A family backyard can take clear glass or aluminium. Apartment edges often need a balustrade instead.

Sydney Glass Pool Fencing has 10+ years of experience and 100+ projects completed. Include the street address with your enquiry so the visit matches the council for that property.

Mosman is in Mosman Council. Cremorne and Neutral Bay are in North Sydney Council. Northbridge, Castlecrag and Willoughby are in Willoughby City Council. The barrier follows the NSW pool rules. Conservation areas, foreshore controls and a reserve boundary are council matters, which is why the street address matters.

A clear line for the pool

Frameless panels use 12mm toughened safety glass on stainless steel spigots, so the fence keeps the view past the water. Semi-frameless panels use slim vertical posts where the yard wants a little more structure. On a conservation street we keep the lines clean and the hardware discreet.

Aluminium pool fencing is the solid choice when a metal frame suits the boundary better than clear glass. Glass balustrades cover stairs, decks and apartment edges.

On the visit we walk the pool edge, the gate, and any stair or deck that needs a rail. You receive a quote and a layout before work starts. Fittings for a harbour fence are corrosion-resistant, chosen for coastal conditions in Sydney.

    Sloping yards above the water

Several of these harbour suburbs have streets that fall toward the water. On those yards we step the panels and place the gate on the path people walk.

The fall is not the same in every suburb. Lower Boyle Street in Mosman is a split level street above Mosman Bay. The Cremorne conservation area sits above Shell Cove. Neutral Bay drops from the Military Road ridge beside Forsyth Park and north of Anderson Park. Northbridge and Castlecrag step toward Middle Harbour. Willoughby Park is a gentle slope, and the fence there follows that milder ground.

    House yards and apartment edges

The work changes with the housing. In Mosman, Cremorne and Neutral Bay a visit may be a house pool, a balcony rail or a privacy screen. Northbridge and Castlecrag sit on harbour peninsulas, where the usual yard is a house pool. Around Willoughby Park the yards are bungalow backyards, and away from the park a flat may need only a screen or a balustrade.

A privacy screen in powder-coated aluminium or frosted glass can close a balcony or a side passage and still leave airflow. It does not replace the pool barrier.

    Common questions

    Frequently asked questions

No. On a harbour slope the panels step with the fall and the gate sits on the path you already walk. Willoughby Park sits on a gentle slope, and the fence follows that milder ground. We measure the yard before we set the gate.
