Quoted for the property
Two pools can need very different fences. The glass, the hardware, the length of the run, the shape of the pool, access for the install, changes in level, the state of the base, the gates, and the timing of the work all sit inside the quote.
Every fence is quoted for the property. A free quote from the contact page, after the site has been looked at, turns those factors into a figure for that pool.
Glass and hardware
The type of glass, and the hardware that holds it, is the first split in the work. A frameless run and a semi-frameless run use different supports. The hardware also has to suit the setting of the property, including how exposed the fence is.
The glass pool fencing and frameless glass pool fencing service pages describe those systems. The quote is where the two approaches are compared for a particular pool.
Length
A longer fence is more glass, more hardware and more installation than a short one. Length is only one input. A short fence on a difficult site can involve more preparation than a longer fence on a simple, level run.
Length sits alongside the shape of the pool, access, levels and the base. The quote looks at the whole property.
Shape and access
A straight run and a pool with corners, curves or several sides are not the same job. Each change of direction adds panels, junctions and hardware.
Access matters as well. A side path, steps, a tight courtyard or a site that materials cannot be carried to in one simple trip changes how the work is done. The quote allows for that access, rather than assuming a clear path to the pool.
Changes in level
A pool on one flat level is simpler to fence than a pool where the ground steps up or down along the fence line. Changes in level affect the panels, the fixings and how the fence meets the ground.
Sloping ground is identified on site, and the quote allows for how the fence meets that ground.
Base preparation
The fence needs a base that the hardware can fix to. Existing paving, a new concrete edge, timber, or ground that still has to be built up are different starting points.
If the edge has to be prepared before the glass goes in, that preparation is part of the quote. The condition of the base is confirmed at the property.
Gates
A gate is a separate piece of the fence. The number of gates, the width of each opening, and the hardware that closes and latches the gate all change the work.
Pool gate rules in New South Wales are set out in the pool fence requirements guide. The quote covers the gates on the property as part of the fence.
Timing
When the fence is needed, and what other work is happening on the site, changes how the job is planned. A fence that has to wait on paving, landscaping or other trades is sequenced differently from a fence on a finished pool surround.
Timing is discussed as part of the quote, alongside the glass, the site and the gates.

A free quote is the way to turn these factors into a figure for one property. Use the contact page and include what you know about the pool, the access and the timing. The glass pool fencing service page is the place to read about the system itself.
