Certification Works
Practical repairs guided by your inspection report
If your pool barrier has been inspected and does not meet the required standard, Sydney Glass Pool Fencing can complete the rectification works needed to address identified fencing and barrier issues.
Certification works may include adjusting or replacing gates and self-closing mechanisms, replacing latches, modifying fence heights, addressing gaps, installing additional glass or aluminium panels, removing climbable elements and completing other required barrier alterations.
We can work from an existing inspection report or compliance requirements to provide a practical solution and complete the necessary works ready for reinspection.

How we can help
Targeted work for the issues identified
Gates and closing mechanisms
Adjust or replace gate components to address the closing and latching issues recorded in the inspection report.
Panels, heights and gaps
Review the affected sections and plan suitable panel additions, replacements or alterations to the barrier layout.
Surrounding features
Identify the climbable elements and nearby features noted in the report, and agree which alterations are included in our scope.
An agreed repair scope
Keep the proposed work tied to the inspection findings so you understand what is being repaired and what needs separate attention.
Our process
From report to completed repairs
Send the inspection report
Provide the full report, photos of the affected sections and the property suburb. Include any stated timeframe for addressing the findings.
Review the barrier on site
We look at the existing panels, gate hardware, fixings and surrounding layout to confirm how the proposed work can be carried out.
Agree and complete the works
We provide a quote for the identified fencing and barrier items, then carry out the agreed adjustments, replacements or additions.
Arrange reinspection
Once repairs are complete, the authorised certifier can reassess the barrier. Any certification decision remains with the certifier.

Repair where practical, replace where needed
A problem with a gate does not always mean the entire fence needs replacing. The condition of the gate, hinges, latch and supporting panels helps determine whether adjustment or replacement is the practical option.
For altered heights or gaps, we consider how new components will connect to the existing barrier. We explain the proposed repair and any affected finishes before the scope is agreed.

Working with an existing report
Please send every page of the report, including photographs and marked-up areas where available. This helps us connect each item to the right part of the fence and identify where a site visit or clarification is needed.
If the report covers items outside fencing and barrier work, those need to be addressed separately with the appropriate provider. Reinspection considers the barrier as a whole, so completing one repair may not resolve every finding.
Next step
Send us your inspection report
We can review the fencing and gate items and help plan the rectification works needed before reinspection.
