Common questions about glass fencing, gates, screens and handrails across Sydney.

Do you install glass fencing that meets pool safety standards?

    What areas do you service?

We cover suburbs across Sydney, including The Hills, Lower North Shore, Upper North Shore, Northern Beaches, Inner West and Eastern Suburbs. If you are not sure your suburb is included, get in touch and we will let you know whether we can help.

    Can I customise the design?

    +

Yes. Every job is tailored to the space and the style of the property. We work with you on the layout, materials and finish.

Is glass fencing safe for families?

    +

Yes. We use toughened safety glass made to handle impact. It is a strong option that is also straightforward to keep clean.

    Do you install automatic gates?

    +

Yes. We supply and install custom automatic gates with modern motors, including sliding and swing designs for driveways and secure entry points.

    Do you offer free quotes?

    +

Yes. We offer free quotes and a free site measure. Get in touch to arrange a visit, or send your plans and we will take it from there.

What is the difference between frameless and semi-frameless fencing?

    +

Frameless fencing uses toughened glass panels supported by stainless steel spigots, which keeps the view clear. Semi-frameless fencing secures the glass with slim vertical posts. It is often a more cost-effective option and still has a modern look.

How strong is the glass used in your pool fences?

    +

We use 12mm toughened safety glass, engineered to withstand high impact and extreme weather. It is the same standard used in commercial buildings.

Are glass balustrades safe for balconies and stairs?

    +

Yes. Our balustrades are made from toughened safety glass and installed to meet Australian Standards, including AS1288 and AS1170.1. They are engineered to withstand high impact and help prevent falls, in residential and commercial settings.

Do glass balustrades need a handrail?

    +

Handrails are required for some installations, depending on height, location and local regulations. During the quote we explain what the design needs so it meets Australian Standards, and we include any handrail the design calls for.

Can you install balustrades on timber decking or tiles?

    +

Yes. We install balustrades on concrete, timber, tiles and steel. Each project is assessed so the fixing suits the surface.

Will privacy screens block airflow or natural light?

    +

No. The designs balance privacy with ventilation and light. Slatted and perforated options allow airflow and filtered light while screening the view from neighbours or the street.

Do I need council approval to install privacy screens?

    +

In many cases, privacy screens can be installed without approval. If the screen is on a boundary, or the building is strata-managed, approval may be required. We explain what your site needs.

Is security fencing suitable for homes and businesses?

    +

Yes. We install security fencing for residential, commercial and industrial properties across Sydney, including homes, schools, warehouses and office sites. The system is tailored to the space.

How long does a security fencing installation take?

    +

Most security fencing installations are completed within two to four days, depending on the size and complexity of the job. The quote confirms the timeline for your site.

Do automatic gates work during a power outage?

    +

Most of our gate motors have a manual release, so the gate can be opened by hand if the power is out. Battery backup is also available.

Can you install steel handrails indoors and outdoors?

    +

Yes. We install steel handrails indoors and outdoors, including staircases, balconies, ramps, platforms and walkways. Materials are chosen for the setting, including galvanised, stainless or powder-coated steel.
