Bungalow backyards around the park
Willoughby Park was set aside in 1907. The streets around it are single storey California bungalows in face brick, with gables to the street, gardens and low front fences, on a gentle slope. We leave that front fence as part of the street and put the pool fence in the backyard, following the slope so the gate meets the path.
The council plan for that conservation area describes small frontages of 12.5m and lots that average 560m2, with small front gardens and a setback that repeats along the street. Wide grassy verges and mature street trees sit in front. Low front fences are unpainted brick, sandstone, or timber and wire.
A pool fence there works inside a compact lot and leaves the front garden alone. For what moves the figure, read Glass pool fencing cost. If the driveway needs a gate, we install one or repair one that has stopped running properly.
