    Glass Pool Fencing The Hills

Serving The Hills and surrounding suburbs

We design and install glass pool fencing for homes across The Hills, including Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, Kellyville, Bella Vista, Dural and Glenhaven. A backyard pool on a house is the usual brief, and we also fit glass where a townhouse or a flat has a pool or a balcony.

The street still matters. Castle Hill and Dural also reach into Hornsby Shire, and a pocket of Baulkham Hills sits in the City of Parramatta. Include the street address with your enquiry and we will measure that property.

What we fit around the pool

Frameless and semi-frameless glass, aluminium pool fencing and automatic gates are the services linked below. Our glass pool fences use 12mm toughened safety glass. We repair pool gates, including hinges, latches and catches, and we repair sliding and swing automatic gates as well.

Glass pool fences are designed and installed to meet or exceed the requirements set by Australian Standards (AS1926.1). We take care of compliance from start to finish and provide all necessary certification. We have 10+ years of experience and 100+ projects completed across Sydney.

Where a pool can sit in the shire

On land in The Hills Shire, swimming pools are not to sit in the front setback or the secondary boundary setback, so the water is not the view from the street. The same controls require a minimum setback of 1m from the waterline to the side and rear boundaries. We set the glass from the water and the paving we measure, and we place the gate where people walk.

Pool filters are to sit away from homes next door, enclosed in a soundproof structure. That plant can sit close to the fence, so the visit checks the clearance before the panels are drawn. Where land is subject to bushfire risk, those controls point to the NSW Rural Fire Service guidelines. If the street is in Parramatta or Hornsby, that council sets the local siting.

The gate and the space beside it

A pool gate has to close and latch every time it is used. If it drops, sticks, or misses the catch, we repair the hinges, the latch and the catch, and we explain the work before it starts. A driveway gate that slides or swings is a separate automatic gate, quoted on its own.

The Hills pool safety notes ask you to keep chairs, pot plants and similar objects clear of the pool fence. We look at that space on the measure, because anything left against the glass becomes a climb.

What to send before the visit

Send the suburb, the street address, and whether the fence is new or a replacement. If a gate has failed, say whether it will not shut, will not latch, or both. Photos of the pool edge, the paving and the gate help us plan the visit. They do not replace the measure.

We visit for a free site measure and prepare the quote from that yard.
