    Glass Pool Fencing Rose Bay

Glass pool fencing in Rose Bay, Eastern Suburbs.

    Local Expertise

    Rose Bay

Rose Bay Wharf sits on New South Head Road, and the housing climbs from the low basin up the hillside. Prominent building types are interwar detached houses and Art Deco flat buildings. On the steeper streets we follow the slope with the panels and place the gate where people can walk through. Frameless glass keeps the harbour in view from the pool.

The Woollahra precinct sits between New South Head Road and Old South Head Road. Rose Bay is also named in Waverley, so the street address is how we tell the two sides apart.

    Common Questions

    Frequently asked questions

Yes. We step the panels and the gate with the rise. Kent Road climbs to a knoll on a bend that follows the contours, beside the golf links, and it is a heritage conservation area, so the line stays discreet.

Gardens, the harbour parks and heritage streets

Lyne Park and the Royal Sydney Golf Club open this precinct to the harbour. Sandstone garden walls at the street are part of that character, and Woollahra asks that remnant sandstone and garden walls be kept. The pool fence stays around the water and does not replace those walls.

Balfour Road, just south of New South Head Road, is a heritage conservation area of interwar houses and flats, with low brick fences and open front yards on tree lined avenues. Beresford Estate is the Federation group on that road, with mature trees and original stone walls.

A steep rise and the flat valley behind the park

Kent Road leaves the southern side of New South Head Road opposite Lyne Park and forms the western edge of the Royal Sydney Golf Club. It rises steeply to a knoll on a double bend that follows the contours, and it ends with views over the golf links and up toward Dover Heights. Late Federation houses on the eastern side look over the links.

Rose Bay Gardens Estate, in the flat valley south of New South Head Road and Lyne Park, is interwar flat buildings with low masonry front fences, including Elanora Street, Iluka Street and Manion Avenue.
