The shore, the view and a stepped path
Along the Iron Cove waterfront, from Cove Street toward Bayville Street, frameless panels leave the water in view. That stretch was subdivided as waterfront land, and the shore streets can fall away from the ridge. A gate on a stepped path has to meet the paving it closes, so we measure the step as well as the length of glass.
Sandstone kerbs and low or open front fences stay, including iron palisade and low brick of the same era as the house. The pool barrier goes around the water, behind the house.
